Senate President, Bukola Saraki has said that the Senate's resolution stopping the confirmation of President Muhammadu Buhari nominees has not changed.

Responding to a point of order by Senator Mao Ohuabunwa (PDP, Abia) on the composition of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), he said the resolution must be respected by all.

The Senate had in July last year passed a resolution, halting further confirmation of President Buhari's nominees not captured in the Constitution over the remarks of the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo on the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu.

The resolution had affected the confirmation of about 50  nominees of the President.
