It appears Petrol Stations across Abeokuta, Ijebu-Ode in Ogun State are seriously doing the business of hoarding the product.

A check made by SPY NIGERIA across different part of the state suggest that fuel is still not been sold in Abeokuta, the State capital since December 2017.

While driving to Lagos yesterday, 20,01,2018. our correspondence bought fuel at Zam Zam Filling station, Awowo Village at the rate of #145 per liter. And also noticed that fuel is being sold from that Awowo village down to Sango-Otta.

He continued, Immediately I got back to Obada-Oko, Just before Ita-Oshin in Abeokuta, he discovered that the commodity is still not being sold.

The question on his lips now is, where are those ones selling along Lagos, Sango/Abeokuta Road getting the products whereas 95% of fillings stations in Abeokuta are not selling.

A call put across to a NNPC official by SPY NIGERIA suggests that the commodity may have been smuggled out of the country since the state is closer to the border.

Whatever the situation is, this news site is calling on the State Governor, NNPC and President Buhari to as a matter of urgency get involve.

The sufferings is becoming unbearable.
