BREAKING: Gas explosion leaves 10 dead, others injured

At least, ten persons have been reported dead while others were severely injured after a gas explosion occurred at Second Coming Gas Plant located on CMD road in Magodo area of Lagos the state.

It was learnt that the plant reportedly went up in flames a while ago spreading fast to other facilities in the neighbourhood.


Officials of the Federal Road Safety Commission at the scene were seen carrying some corpses and those injured into their vehicles for immediate medical attention.

Channels reports that the cause of the inferno is yet to be ascertained.

Officials of the state fire service are still battling to put the situation under control.
