Senator Dino Melaye has set the political landscape agog, on Friday, as he called on Nigerians to vote out the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in 2019, because they have failed the nation.
Dino made this call on the ‘Osasu Show’, aired by the African Independent Television, AIT, on Friday Morning, which was monitored by Post-Nigeria.
Dino who sounded emotional as he was given the opportunity to speak, pointed out that he would never shy away from saying the truth.
“If you say the truth you will die, If you lie you will die, I have decided to say the truth and die. I am going the take an unpopular position today, by saying that the APC and I have failed the nation.
“When I was in the House Of Representatives, I raised a motion that children of Politicians should be mandated to attend public schools. Believe me, that motion was not seconded and it died a natural death.
“The only way to guarantee stable power supply is to ensure that Politicians do not use generators. I must be sincere that APC and I have failed Nigerians. It is left for them to vote us out, if we refuse to sit up.”
